Welcome to the first day of 12 Tags of Christmas 2022!
We’re so happy to be starting the week with a little help from the fabulous Carissa Wiley. She was inspired by the fun and festive song ‘Holly Jolly Christmas” and is here today to show us how she created her tag!

It’s the best time of the year! It’s day one of the annual 12 Tags of Christmas event at EllenHutson.com and I’m thrilled to kick it off with a tag themed all around Holly Jolly Christmas. This is such a happy holiday song and I love me some greenery on a card or tag, so I thought this would be a perfect fit for my tag this year.

For the base of my tag, I used the Modern Tags die set from the Essentials By Ellen line and did a little partial die cutting with my Gemini Junior to create a longer tag. I love a double layered tag, so I repeated that process to create two tags.
I paired the Festive Phrases die set from Concord & 9th with the Essentials By Ellen North Pole Greetings to create a beautiful focal cluster of stamps and dies. I added a few extra glittered boughs using the Concord & 9th Boughs And Holly die set for extra sparkle that grabs the eye! You just can’t have enough sparkle and glitter around the holidays!

Thanks for stopping by today. I hope you’ve enjoyed this tag project (that could easily be recreated as a card). Until next time, I hope you have a fabulous day!
XOXO
Carissa

Very pretty! Great color combo and design!
These are great!!
Lovely card, Carissa! I wouldn’t have thought to pair dark green with light pink, but it works surprisingly well. I love all your layers & texture!
