Hi crafty friends! It’s Jeannie here and today, I wanted to share a shaker card featuring some of the items from the recent Essentials by Ellen release. The focal item for this shaker card is the Sew Cute Bunny die, which is primarily used for stitching but I wanted to share another way to use it on your cards.

Even though the Sew Cute Bunny die is larger than an A2 card, you can still use it partially to create an opening for a shaped shaker. You can also use the smaller dies from the same set to cut out the florals to add more decoration to the front of your card. The newest Marble hot foil plate from Essentials by Ellen works so perfectly for a subtle background that doesn’t distract from the rest of the card.

Tips for a quick and easy shaker:
- Using a shaker pocket allows you to skip the traditional foam tape shaker cards.
- Only close three sides of your shaker pocket. Make sure you’re happy with the amount of shaker bits before closing up the fourth side.
