Prismacolor Pencils On Colored Cardstock

Using Prismacolor colored pencils on colored cardstock can create magical results, especially when you learn Emily Midgett’s secret weapon for vibrant results!

Hi there! Emily Midgett back again with February’s installment of Exploring With Emily. Each month, I choose a different coloring medium to “explore” and share with you my tips and tricks for getting good results with them.

This month, I’m working with Prismacolor colored pencils. No-line pencil coloring on colored card stock is one of my most favorite ways to use colored pencils. It creates a beautiful, almost screen printed look, and is so unique and fun! I’ve paired the Prismacolor pencils with the new Mondo Gerbera Daisy and some new Hero Hues Paradise card stock, and created a custom foil die cut. I hope you’ll take a look at this fun, springy card (with a touch of shine!) that I’ve created for this month!
