We’re back and diving into Day Three of the Essentials by Ellen release week! All week, we’re showing off previews of our new July release, leading up to the launch on Friday, July 22 at 9 AM PDT. We’ll even be having a shell-abratory Instagram hop, complete with prizes!
If you missed yesterday’s treasures, catch up on the fun HERE!
Today’s projects feature three new stamp sets (with coordinating dies) designed by the lovely Julie Ebersole! Create your own underwater adventure with our playful new O-FISH-AL, SEAWEEDS, and WHALE SHARK stamp sets.
Just keep swimming to see all the previews from our Design Team!

From Therese Calvird:
“Group small elements or images together to create focal points in a scene.”

From Emily Mydlowski:
“Use a favorite stamp in a set to create a one-of-kind background with repeat stamping.”

From Angela Simpson:
“Rather than trying to mask off the whale shark after coloring it, I covered it in Glossy Accents and left it overnight to dry. This made creating the ink blended background a breeze!”

From Carissa Wiley
“Vellum layers make dreamy oceans. You can color your vellum using your favorite dye inks on the back side of the vellum. Hit it with a heat tool to dry the ink.”

From Tiffany Pryce Russom:
“Layer distress oxide ink on top of white pigment ink to help your oxide inks pop on dark cardstock.”

From Carly Tee Minner:
“Use the Essentials by Ellen Waves to cut a mask and ink blend a simple ocean background. Then you can stamp on top and add a little simple coloring.”

From Daniel West:
“Die cut the large whale shark image out of some masking paper and stamp inside it for a whimsical look.“
We’ll be back tomorrow with another round of PEARL-fect previews of the new Essentials by Ellen release!
